Fireside Chat with Morten Wierod, CEO, ABB

Morten Wierod embarked on a distinguished career at ABB, where he has held key leadership positions over the years. Since August 2024, he has been President and CEO, and a member of the Group Executive Committee of ABB Ltd.

Prior to this role, Morten Wierod was the President of the Electrification Business Area from 2022 to 2024, and the President of the Motion Business Area from 2019 to 2022. His journey at ABB began in 1998 as an Area Sales Manager in Norway, steadily progressing through roles such as Export Manager and various leadership positions in Switzerland, China, and Norway.

With a career marked by innovation and leadership, he has been instrumental in driving ABB’s success across multiple business areas, consistently advancing the company’s position in the global market. In this conversation, Morten Wierod will share his thoughts on the topics of electrification, energy expansion, and energy transformation.
