In January 2024, Georg Schubiger took over as Co-CEO of Vontobel, a position he shares with Christel Rendu de Lint. He is a member of the Executive Committee.

Georg Schubiger, a Swiss citizen, joined Vontobel in 2012 as Head Vontobel Wealth Management.

Mr. Schubiger’s career has been defined by international experiences spanning the US, Scandinavia and beyond. Before joining Vontobel Georg Schubiger was the COO and Member of the Executive Board of Danske Bank Group. He was also employed by Sampo plc and spent six years as an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company Inc.

Georg Schubiger holds a lic. oec. from the University of St. Gallen as well as a Master of Arts, European Political Studies from the College of Europe Bruges, Belgium.
