As BIO International Convention 2026 brings the global life-science community to San Diego, the Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce Southern California (SACCSoCal) is organizing a purpose-driven, conference-adjacent event that reflects the sector’s shared commitment to research, innovation, and real-world impact.

On Friday, June 26, 2026, immediately following the conference, we will host the inaugural Swiss San Diego Golf Open at the historic Balboa Park Golf Course, just minutes from the San Diego Convention Center. The event offers participants a convenient way to conclude the week: an 18-hole round followed by a networking luncheon, before heading home or continuing onward with their travels. 

This tournament is intentionally more than a business or social gathering. All proceeds will benefit the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation (PCRF) and Rady Children's Health, leaders in pediatric oncology research and care. Progress in this field is essential, not only to improve survival rates, but to ensure children who beat cancer can live long, healthy lives. These are outcomes that depend on sustained investment in science, collaboration, and innovation.
